Homegoods Opens at Newly Renovated Aurora Village Shopping Center

BUFFALO, NY (September 11, 2025) — HomeGoods officially opened its doors recently at Aurora Village Shopping Center, marking an exciting new chapter for the retail destination. The addition of the national home furnishings store highlights a full-scale renovation of the property, designed to elevate the shopping experience and better serve the East Aurora community.

HomeGoods joins other recently added tenants, including T.J. Maxx and Michaels, with Starbucks also set to open soon. The new lineup strengthens the center’s position as a convenient, one-stop destination for shopping, dining and everyday needs.

“We are thrilled to welcome HomeGoods to Aurora Village as we continue to transform this center into a vibrant, modern shopping destination,” said Eric Recoon, Vice President of Development and Leasing for Benderson Development. “The new renovations and fresh tenant mix represent our ongoing commitment to reinvesting in our properties and bringing best-in-class retailers to meet the needs of the community.”

Located at 123 Grey Street, the Tops-anchored Aurora Village Shopping Center has undergone a total transformation, including updated façades, lush landscaping, new lighting, and enhanced pedestrian areas, all designed to create a more inviting and enjoyable environment for shoppers.
