The leading real estate company today announced its acquisition of The Shops at Midtown Miami, a premier 347,700-square-foot grocery-anchored retail center located at 3401 N Miami Ave. in Miami. The acquisition marks Benderson’s third significant purchase this month, underscoring the company’s aggressive growth strategy in key markets.
Spanning over 18 acres, The Shops at Midtown Miami is home to an impressive lineup of national retailers, including Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Marshalls, HomeGoods and Ross Dress for Less. The center is a popular shopping destination in the Midtown Miami district, attracting over 3.4 million annual visitors.

Benderson has been significantly growing its portfolio the last several years, with new acquisitions this month totaling over $140 million and more than 650,000 sq. ft. In addition to the Shops at Midtown Miami, September acquisitions include Cypress Trace, a 280,000-square-foot grocery-anchored shopping center in Fort Myers and Park Plaza, an iconic 25,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use property on Park Avenue in Orlando’s Winter Park neighborhood.
